London

Well after flying for an hour and a half we arrived in london. The streets were lined with the famous london cabs....so efficient, sits five and the cab drivers know exactly where you want to go!

The next day we took one of the London double decker bus tours. You can hop on and off, they have a running commentary in many languages and its good for 48 hours. This is the little tourist familyat Trafalgar Square.

Here we are sitting up the top of the bus.....no it wasn't cold at all hahahaha

Being Dr. Who fans we just had to get photos of the famous red telephone boxes! They are everywhere despite the popularity of mobile phones....its good that they keep the traditions going. Here is a question for the followers....what is the name of Dr. Who's ship?

This is the marker for the London City proper....even the Queen by tradition has to ask permission from the mayor to enter this part of the city.

London Bridge and the River Thames

Well since we decided on this trip Courtney has been wanting to find a build-a-bear! She researched all the sites along the way and was disappointed that there wasn't one in Dubai or Paris. However, the first morning we arrived she had written done all the addresses we could find them in London! The expression on her face when we walked in was priceless. She made a bunny to be a friend to her bear...Christina.

You choose the type of toy, whether you want it to say something and a special satin heart. You then choose to have it stuffed soft, medium or hard. You have to cuddle it and tell the helper whether or not it is just right for you! Then you can choose the outfits....I don't know who was worse...Courtney or me....well every stuffed toy must have a spider man outfit right?

The next day we walked through Hyde Park and looked at Speakers Corner, the statue of Achilles and all the horses that were being excercised. Awesome park.

The trees seemed to go on forever

There were Xmas markets as well in the park but after Germany they just didn't make the mark
